RivetDirect is a 25 year old specialty fastener distributor in Acton, MA. We’re hiring a warehouse associate to keep up with recent growth in order volume.
The rate is $25/hour with bonuses for hitting skill development milestones. The work schedule is 5 hours per week with flexibility on which day you work. Unfortunately, we cannot offer benefits until we can support a full-time employee.
As time goes by, more work will become available if you want it. There is also long-term potential for full-time work with benefits, raises, and promotion depending on your performance and the growth of the business.
Position:
You will help the general manager in day-to-day order receiving and fulfillment duties at the company warehouse. The tasks will vary from week to week, but your focus will be helping the general manager fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. No prior experience required. We will train you on all skills required.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling boxes for customer orders
- Breaking down old boxes from suppliers
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Taking out the trash once a month
- Order fulfillment – shipping by UPS & freight pallets
- Receiving inbound shipments & organizing product (with supervision)
Requirements:
- 18+ years old
- Ability to lift boxes 25-50 pounds
- Attention to detail including learning part numbers
- Good teamwork skills
- Good communication skills
